    i got my dr martens today in the mail. i got them in us size 10 or uk size 8. i am size 8 or 9 new zealand. anyway i tried them on and they look too big. my toe is close to the tip of the shoe so they should be close to a perfect fit with socks on. anyway im just wondering if these shoes always look big or is it the bright colour making them stand out. also im not exactly stick thin and im worried about looking like im trying to hard whilst wearing them. please help :)

    i joined army cadets about 3 months ago and i'm really enjoyibg it, i have my unifrom but the boots i have to provide myself. i contacted the divisions head office and they told me i can get boots from the tonbridgemarket so i went but they need proof that i'm a cadet, i got a letter to prove it but they didn't urn up to the market. i feel as if i'm wasting my time when i need boots now!! wht online shop or store can i buy similer boots from, there dr martens style boots, i don't mind paing up to 40 but no more considering i will only where them once a week. thanks :)

  • very painful blisters on the back of my heel?
    i got some new dr martens and when i first put them on, they weren't hurting at all. i was quite surprised because all my others hurt so much even putting them on at first. so anyway i'd been wearing them around the house for a couple of hours to break them in a little bit and they weren't hurting at all so i decided to go out in them.. big mistake. they were fine for about 15 minutes once i'd got out and then they were just hurting so bad at the back of my foot heel.. i couldn't change them or go back so i just had to bare the pain. once i'd finally got home i realized it was actually worse than what i thought and all of the back of both feet were blistered and all cut. now they're really really painful and there's been pus coming out of them constantly and it's very difficult to even walk! i can't put any shoes on either because it's constantly rubbing. i've had a warm bath and just left them but they're just constantly throbbing and they're all red around the outside of the popped blisters. i don't know what to do! a few friends think they're infected but i didn't think they could get infected within a nights sleep? :( thanks in advance

  • any idea what year my dr martens might have been made?
    i have a pair of dr martens boots (usual black colour) which are steel toe capped but don't have the yellow stitching around the sole. they have the label at the back and the dr martens sole is the same as this : upload.wikimedia.org wikipedia commons b b2 dm bottom old.jpg i've been trying to find what type they are but have had no luck so far, also they have the number 68 inside of them... no idea if that is helpful at all. any help?
