    hi there, i have such a large interest in headphones and i've been recently reading a lot of reviews on headphone brands.i also hope that i'm not repeating a question that can be found on the forums either cuz what i'm asking is a little different than just brand vs brand. skullcandy sparked my interest in headphone quality but soon enough, (t.t), i hear they suck badly lol. i'm just a fan of the skullcandy brand just becuz they look nice but i've taken an interest in the sennheiser brand. basically, where i'm trying to get to is about the outside vs inside headphones. when i go outside i just wear my skullcandy headphones, hesh to be exact, cuz it's looks nice and i think they offer decent quality (got them sale for 19.99). the better brands might look a little odd for public use. for example, the sennheiser hd25 i hear sound great but they look a little odd hah. i want to try out the more higher quality brands like sennheiser and audiotechinica but by the way some of them look, i'd prefer them to use for home becuz they'll sound nice in a more relaxing enviornment i guess. my question is, are there certain models you can suggest (not skullcandy, beats dre solo, koss, monster) that are great quality headphones and still look nice for the outside image? hopefully under 100. if this is a paradox, then i understand and would much rather prefer the decent looking headphones but with better quality then. (note: you don't have to state anything about my self esteem cuz that's not really the issue, when i get my new headphones (good or bad looking) i'll be playing i am beautiful in every single way by christina aguilera hah)

  • am i a mezzo soprano soprano or contralto?
    hey! i am 19 years old, female and was wondering what voice type i am. i tested my voice range out on the piano (used middle c as c4) and i can produce pitches anywhere from d3 a 6 but from d6 upwards i can't really sing it, it's more just like i can whistle it for a second or so. anyway, the part where i sing the most and where my voice feels most comfortable is b3 g5 and the g5 is very easy to produce. i find it easy singing along to artists such as hayley williams, christina aguilera, colbie calliat and demi lovato. i want to adution for choir next week but what spot do you think i would most likely fill (soprano1, soprano2, alto1 or alto2)? i like singing more in the middle high rather than too low even though i can sing quite low.

  • how to start a serious singing career?( how and where to find a manager)?
    hello im 19 years old ... i live in cyprus and the next month i will move to la. and try to pursue a singing career.... i know that if you want to be a singer you have to work really hard... its my life dream and no matter what happens i will never give up until to make it! i finished the musical high school here in cyprus. every person who watch me to perform ..says that i sing like beyonce or christina aguilera and also that if i stay here i will waste my talent because here we dont have so many opportunities. .. so this is why i want to go to usa.. i have been studying music for about 14 years.. i play 9 musical instruments... i write my own songs and i have been taking dancing lessons for 5 years ,,, i love to sing and dance like beyonce does and also i make my own choreographies.. i know that if i want to begin a singing career i need to have training.. i have this... i know that i need to perform everywhere i can and also that i need to record a demo with my songs ...i know... but as i dont know people in la and im not connected there with the music business i want to find a manager.,, i know that if a singer want to purse a serious singing career has to find a manager who has some connections with the music industry and also has the knowledge to help him plan his career.. so i have recorded(video) myself to sing live different kind of songs which show my vocal ability.. videos that i dance,, play musical instruments etc...and videos from live performances.... and i want to send these to managers.... but i dont know where to find them... i found some managers on facebook and i want to send them there email but i dont know if they will reply or i dont know if they are serious with this... so where can i find them? if i send my videos on management companies ...then will they find me a manager from their company? please help me and tell me how to do it.. please i dont want the answers.. if you are good the managers will find you.. i said i dont have the connections i want to start serious... i am already on youtube..there are thousands of videos there.. i need to pay to advertise my videos in order to have many views or i have to be very lucky so the people will find my video and watch it.. i dont want to go to american idol or on any tv show like this for now..i want a manager to guide me. .also i have a little bit accent problem but i dont think this to be a problem if you have talent (tell me your opinion about that) anyway the main question is ... where to send my videos and my resume in order to find a manager...?where to find a manager...? please if you have any information or some kind of link ..answer... thank u :)
