open question: browser says 'problem with websites security certificate'?
i just got rid of a major virus from my computor and after doing a system restore, everything is screwed up still. when i got onto any wesite where you have to log in: yahoo, gmail, hotmail, facebook, forever21 etc. it says that the certificate isnt valid like i said above, and i can get past it by clicking continue anyway, but on yahoo the whole emails are in a different format then, and everything is messed up also on forever 21, it is no longer letting me do anything because it says i have to enable cookies to medium, which i did, and it still will not let me view anything, even after retarting my brower. please help. im so confused and annoyed with this computor.

i just downloaded a hex editor, and i kind of understand it.so far i've figured out that the hex digits go in this manner: 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f, 60, etc. i found out that they basically print text in a .txt file so far. now.i downloaded an apple emulator for my pc. when you go into the debugger mode (which displays the actual code that it's running) everything is supposedly in hexadecimal but it's four or five digits instead of just a number and letter, as above. what can i use a hex editor for. what's the purpose of hexadecimal. can you program with this as you would with basic or c . thank you for all the help.

i have powerpoint 2004 on my macbook and am working on a presentation. the images i am using are really nice, but i'm simply copying them off of google images, for example, and pasting them in. problem is, even if the image is a .gif file with a transparent background when i find it on google, when i paste it into powerpoint, the background changes and i'm left with an image that has a square or rectangular border that makes it look terrible. is there any way to work with pasting images with a transparent background, or setting a transparent colour, in powerpoint, so that these don't all look so bad. without transparent backgrounds, the background is black or white or some neon colour and it doesn't go with the presentation colour scheme or theme at all.
